Arkansas prosecutors say officers have been cleared of wrongdoing in the controversial arrest of Lionel Morris, 39, at Harp’s grocery store.
Arkansas prosecutors say officers have been cleared of wrongdoing in the controversial arrest of Lionel Morris, 39, at Harp’s grocery store. Morris later died and is seen on police body camera repeatedly telling officers "I can’t breathe." The Conway Police Chief says Morris was wanted for shoplifting and resisted multiple arrest instructions. An autopsy found drugs “and the strength he exerted while struggling with police ultimately contributed to his death.”
